A place to exhale

A place to exhale. A place to receive. A place to reconnect with yourself.

This retreat offers something increasingly rare: time and space to truly slow down.

For five days, we step away from the pace and demands of everyday life and into an environment created for deep rest, nervous system care, reconnection and spaciousness.

Sometimes what we need most is not another thing to do, but the space to finally stop doing. Together, we create the conditions for the nervous system to settle, for the body to soften, and for you to reconnect with parts of yourself that can be hard to hear in the noise of everyday life.

Who it's for

Women who are ready to step away, soften and receive. If you've been carrying a lot and you're craving time when nothing is being asked of you, this is for you.

Tracy runs just one Deep Rest Retreat each year. Places are intentionally limited to keep it intimate.

Why Deep Rest is different

This isn't a retreat filled with activities from morning until night. The space between the practices matters just as much as the practices themselves.

  • Time to sleep.
  • Time to walk.
  • Time to receive.
  • Time to be quiet.
  • Time to connect.
  • Time to be alone.
  • Time to remember what it feels like when nothing is being asked of you.

What the days hold

Across the five days we explore nervous system education, nature therapy, sensory awareness, restorative therapeutics, somatic movement, meditation, connection and reflection, always returning to the conditions that support repair: safety, softness, slowness, warmth, quiet, darkness, connection and uninterrupted pauses.

A sample day on retreat

  • 7:00am Breakfast
  • 8:00am Vagus Nerve & Neuro-education Learning
  • 10:00am Morning Tea
  • 10:30am Restorative Therapeutics
  • 1:00pm Lunch
  • 2:00pm Treatments, Rest & Free Time
  • 3:30pm Afternoon Tea
  • 6:00pm Dinner
  • 7:00pm Meditation, Women's Circle or Restorative Practice

There's no rushing from one thing to the next. The pauses are part of the retreat: time to rest, wander, sleep, receive a treatment, sit quietly in nature or simply do nothing at all.

Deep rest isn't simply the absence of doing. It is a different way of being with yourself.

Your facilitator

Tracy Whitton — Lead Facilitator, Nervous System Neuro-Education

For more than 22 years, Tracy has been facilitating retreats and working therapeutically with the body, the nervous system and the restorative power of stillness. As a psychotherapist, somatic practitioner, mentor and creator of The Vagus Nerve Method™, she brings together nervous system education, trauma-informed somatic practices, restorative therapeutics, breath, movement, touch and decades of personal meditation and contemplative practice.

At the heart of her work is a simple question: what are the conditions this nervous system needs right now? Rather than forcing the body to settle, you're invited to become curious about your own nervous system: to recognise its signals, understand its protective responses and discover what supports greater capacity, flexibility and connection.
